Congratulations to the West Devon gymnastics team for coming first in the South West Youth Games gymnastics competition.
An annual event, the competition requires gymnasts to compete a Key Steps floor routine, a vault exercise and a range and conditioning routine. The scores of the top four gymnasts in each team are then added together to form the total mark.
The West Devon team, including Matthew Watts, Joe Kent, Sophie Wills, Faye Hooper, Freya Cavalier-White and Sienna Snell were coached by Vicki Pritchard. They were one of six teams to compete.
They all showed style and flair in their performances, and to top a great day, Faye Hooper and Freya Cavalier-White also came joint first individually.
