England Foundation Squad Camp in Portugal August 2023

Okehampton Flyers coach Vicki Pritchard has been invited to coach as part of the England coaching team at a week’s training camp in Portugal.

Okehampton Flyers gymnasts Bracken Granger, Charlotte Pickbourne and Adam Hazucha have been selected to represent the South West in trampoline and Adela Wrzecionko and Connie James have been selected to represent the South West in double mini trampoline. Tabitha Weaver has been selected as first reserve for trampoline.

Okehampton Flyers had four gymnasts compete at the National Age Group Competition, which is the highest level of qualifying competition run by British Gymnastics. The competition is against all of the clubs in the UK. The purpose of the event is to qualify for the British Championships.

Okehampton Flyers gymnasts Esther Smith, Connie James and Mason Parker-Groves have qualified for the English Championships in double mini trampoline (DMT), and Mason has also qualified in trampoline.

Okehampton Flyers had six gymnasts compete at the national English qualifiers at Medway Park in Kent and Telford International Centre this summer.

Okehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club had 29 entries into the South West Challenge Cup Final in trampoline and DMT in Bath, with 10 gymnasts becoming Challenge Cup champions in their grades.

Okehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club had 40 entries into the South West regional trampoline and DMT qualifier in Bath, with 22 gymnasts taking podium places including 12 golds.
