Okehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club gymnasts gave superb performances at the British Gymnastics South West club tumbling in Sherborne.
The gymnasts competed three passes each of tumbling skills on a long sprung track, ranging from round offs to flics, whips and somersaults. The gymnasts were marked for form, speed and control.
Congratulations to Emily Szwanc, Daisy Crompton and Bo Langman, who all achieved gold medals in their classes, Florence Stallion, Ronni Gardiner and Paige Raines who achieved silver medals, and Poppy Smith and Mae Purkiss who won bronze medals in their categories. Many other club gymnasts achieved top 8 placings. All of the classes were very large.
Thank you very much to coaches Teegan, Beth and Amelie for supporting the gymnasts over a very long 10-hour day, and to Teegan for judging.
