Okehampton Gym, Trampoline and DMT Club has returned from the annual Honiton Hurricanes competition with more top results.
With one gold medal, two silver medals and other high rankings, the young trampolinists outclassed many more experienced competitors.
In the primary school category and their first competition, Isabella Pavey won a gold medal and Erin Whitton, Lily Coton and Ben Stoneman achieved 6th, 7th and 9th place. In the Club I Under 11s class, Niamh Grimshaw came 2nd, with Faye Pimlott narrowly missing a place on the podium, coming 4th. Sofia Nightingale, Leon Biaggi and Megan Brogan came 7th, 8th and 11th.
In the more advanced Club H Over 11s class, Caitlin McCartney won a silver medal, and Angus Bond and Katerina Westman finished in 4th and 7th place. Amber Davey-Wright came 6th in the Regional G Over 15.
The club will be setting its sights on the Tornadoes competition, to be held in Torbay later in the summer.
