Our new tumbling judges
Congratulations to Teegan Smith and Niamh Grimshaw who have qualified as British Gymnastics tumbling judges! Both gymnasts, who train and coach at Okehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club, travelled to Sherborne in Dorset to qualify, and achieved high marks in their theory and practical assessments to judge at county and regional tumbling competitions.

Okehampton Flyers strike gold at South West schools
Okehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club have achieved ten qualification places for the southern zonal schools trampoline championships, to be held in Kent in January. Club gymnasts travelled to Taunton for the South West regional schools championships, to perform routines in novice, intermediate and elite grades, with classes as large as 50 gymnasts.

Okehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club tumbling gymnasts have won four gold medals in their first South West club tumbling competition. The Flyers’ four gymnasts each performed three passes linking gymnastics skills on a sprung tumble track in front of a panel of judges.
