A bumper crop of news and results to cap the end of the 2022 season.

Announcing our restart dates for August 2022. As there are competitions in September and October, we will be restarting some sessions from w/c 15 August, with other sessions restarting in September.

by Amy Hetherington, Okehampton Times Gymnasts from Okehampton’s trampolining club, Okehampton Flyers, have gained 17 places at the South West club and regional challenge cup competition in July.

Okehampton Flyers rise to the challenge at the South West trampoline Club and Regional Challenge Cup Final in Bath this month, with a number of club gymnasts becoming Challenge Cup champions in their categories.

Okehampton Flyers trampolinist Mason Parker-Groves finished in the top six at British Gymnastics finals held at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham.

The British Gymnastics South West tumbling competition in Sherborne saw Flyers’ tumblers land in medal positions achieving high scores and medals across all grades.

Okehampton Flyers Gym, DMT and Trampoline Club returned to medal-winning form at their first South West Tumbling Competition this season. Travelling to Newton Abbot, this was the first tumbling competition for all eleven gymnasts attending. The Flyers’ haul of medals included three golds, four silvers and a bronze, with a fourth and two fifth place

All of our members have been sent our new social distancing guidance for gymnasts and parents for all sessions. Please read the details below on changes we have made to club sessions to reduce the risk of transmission and to enable us to maintain social distancing.

Children and families from Okehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club have been keeping fit during lock-down by taking part in the club’s home gymnastics competition.
