We have recently been awarded £10,000 by Sport England to run an adult gym and trampoline session on a Thursday, 8.30-9.30pm! The session is for teenagers and adults (14+) and participants can choose whether they do gym, trampolining or both.

Okehampton Gym and Trampoline Club wowed audiences at Super Sporting Sunday on 16 July, with trampolining and tumbling displays that included double somersaults and double twisting somersaults. They also ran free have-a-go sessions for children and adults on the trampoline and inflatable tumble track. It was a great day, despite the wet weather!

Congratulations to the West Devon gymnastics team for coming first in the South West Youth Games gymnastics competition. An annual event, the competition requires gymnasts to compete a Key Steps floor routine, a vault exercise and a range and conditioning routine. Our hard work raising money for a sprung tumble track has finally paid off! We were able to purchase a Continental sprung track in July, meaning we can prepare our gymnasts to enter tumbling competitions. Okehampton Trampoline Club came away with four medals from the Griffin Trampoline competition in Street on Sunday 13th November. It was a busy competition with a friendly atmosphere. The trampolines were top level 6x4s and 4x4s, so the children did well to adjust to the bouncier trampolines with only three or four practice warm ups.
