Okehampton Flyers strike gold at South West schools

Okehampton Flyers at South West schoolsOkehampton Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT Club have achieved ten qualification places for the southern zonal schools trampoline championships, to be held in Kent in January.

Club gymnasts travelled to Taunton for the South West regional schools championships, to perform routines in novice, intermediate and elite grades, with classes as large as 50 gymnasts.

Representing their primary or secondary school, the gymnasts came away with ten medals, including two golds in the elite grades, one gold, two silvers and an 11th and 12th place in the intermediate grades, and three golds, one silver and one bronze medal in novice grades, as well as a 5th and 11th place.

Well done also to Faye Hooper, Eliza Luke, Mason Parker-Groves, Adam Wrzecionko, Tabitha Weaver, Bethan Honey, Miya Porter, Harry Pitman, Madison Vine and Arran Stannard-Heap, who will all be representing their schools at the southern zonal championships in Kent in January.
